MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Thursday approved the declaration of a state of national calamity following the devastation left by Typhoon “Tino” and in anticipation of the entry of another severe weather disturbance.
Marcos made the announcement after leading a situational briefing at the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) headquarters in Camp Aguinaldo in Quezon City.
