(UPDATE) AN arrest warrant has been issued by the International Criminal Court (ICC) against Sen. Ronald Dela Rosa, Ombudsman Jesus Crispin Remulla said Saturday, though no other government agency could confirm the report.
Remulla made his claim in his dzRH radio program on Saturday morning.
“I have it on good authority that the ICC has issued a warrant against Sen. Bato Dela Rosa,” Remulla said, referring to the senator and former police chief by his nickname.
Remulla added that the extradition process has been recently updated following the Supreme Court’s new rules on extradition issued on Oct. 1. He noted that the alleged offenses are considered “extraditable.”
