After high school, I decided to continue my education at Isabela State University, Cauayan Campus. I enrolled in the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology program. Choosing IT was not random. I had always been interested in technology, computers, and programming. I wanted to build a future where I could use my skills to help society and give back to my family. By 2024, my focus on my studies grew stronger. College life was completely different from high school. It required more independence, effort, and resilience. I began learning programming languages, joined activities that expanded my knowledge, and built confidence in myself. Every project I completed and every challenge I overcame reminded me that I was one step closer to my dream. Now, in 2025, I am 21 years old and a third-year IT student. College life is not easy. There are days when I feel exhausted, buried in deadlines, and pressured by expectations. But I have learned to face every challenge with determination. I remind myself that my education is not just for me it’s for my mom, who continues to work abroad for my future, and for my grandparents, who raised me with love and guidance. My dream is to achieve success. Before that, I want to finish my degree and become a successful IT professional. I want to show myself, my family, and the world that despite the hardships I faced, I never gave up. My father might not have been there to watch me grow, and my mother might have been far away, but their presence shaped me in different ways. The loss of my father made me stronger, my mother’s sacrifice taught me responsibility, and my grandparents love gave me stability. Looking back at my life, I see that every tear, every challenge, and every sacrifice has a purpose. I’ve learned that life is not about what we don’t have but about what we do with what we are given. I may not have grown up with a complete family, but I grew up with love, resilience, and determination. My story is still unfolding. There are still chapters I have yet to write, challenges I have yet to face, and dreams I have yet to achieve. But one thing is certain: I will keep moving forward with hope, hard work, and gratitude. I will carry my mother’s sacrifices as my inspiration, my grandparents guidance as my foundation, and my own determination as my fuel. This is my story, not just a story of struggle, but a story of perseverance, love, and dreams. As I continue on this journey, I know that every step I take brings me closer to the future I have always dreamed of.
